If there is literally 0 reason that anyone should ever reroll a character or make an alt in New World, what should you do?

You can do everything the game has to offer on one character and since progression is 100% tied to a character and not an account no player has any reason to ever make an Alt and go through the 1-60 experience again.

NONE of this applies to New World leaving low-level content all but abandoned even on the most popular servers and giving new players who weren’t here on launch a truly horrible and desolate first impression in a game that lives or dies on people’s first impression. The developers MUST create some way to drive players to create more characters or this game will slowly die as the number of people who are willing to play 1-60 completely alone is vanishingly small

Well, we are locked to 1 character per server, and the grind is far too much to be willing to do a second time. And alts normally still share certain things, like vault space or something. There is also reason to do so as other MMO's make respec's cost a lot of money and time to rebuild your character with skills and gear. It takes weeks to max a weapon in ESO, not to mention skill lines and abilties+morphs. So people have characters built for PvP, then another for PvE, sharing weapons and gear through the vault to gear the other up. Those games have YEARS of content, but also make specializing very important as changing your build later is costly in both time and resources/gear.
