David Lee won't be able to help save San Antonio's playoff run.The Spurs forward has been diagnosed with a partially torn patellar tendon in his left knee after exiting Saturday's Game 3 loss to the Warriors, MMOgo NBA 2K MT reported Sunday.According to the report, Lee will undergo an MRI on Sunday to confirm the severity of the injury and get an estimated timetable for his recovery.Lee suffered the injury late in the first quarter of the team's 120-108 loss after scoring on a layup contested by Warriors forward Draymond Green, who drew a foul on the basket.

After being unable to attempt his free throw, Lee was assisted to the locker room by athletic trainers in a wheelchair and did not return.Lee, 34, averaged 7.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in the regular season, though his numbers are slightly down to 4.1 points and 3.8 rebounds in the postseason.The Warriors hold a 3-0 series lead over the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals after setting an NBA record with 11 straight wins to start the postseason.

Cavaliers forward LeBron James may not have been named an MVP finalist this year, but he won't be shut out from winning at least one of the NBA's postseason awards.On Sunday, James was named the 2016-17 J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award winner, which is given annually to a player, coach or athletic trainer who shows outstanding service and dedication to the community, according to a league press release.

James receives the award for "improving the educational opportunities of disadvantaged youth in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, and creating long-term change in his community."

More than 1,100 at-risk students have benefited from the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF), according to the 2k18 mt release."LeBron James' efforts to help young people are exemplary," PBWA President Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel said in the release. "He is making a difference, and so are the other 25 people who were nominated for this award." Past winners of the award include Wayne Ellington, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng, Kenneth Faried and Pau Gasol.
