The matter is without paying for this, that could find that variety and pleasure. Things like aura refreshes that are free are nice, but compulsory. I just do not see how RuneScape gold to call this version workable unless Jagex was willing to take a major hit to their earnings. I am skeptical of how many new runescape players it would attract. I believe most new accounts would be alts that runescape players would robots and create. I doubt it'd bring life to dead regions in the runescape game since honestly, why would you move train your mining sandstone in Menaphos in case you can mine seren stones in Prif, even with a 20% or 30% xp increase? If it's just a daily, folks will only stay around so long as required to finish it, and consequently you still won't find a great deal of interaction happening.

Pondering over the idea of creating RS3 a truly freemium game a little more, the only way you could actually achieve this is to find a means to generate the Runepass subscription essentially mandatory like p2p is currently. Jagex would have to set up some sort of daily gp / source / xp cap to where you couldn't earn over 1m gp / xp each day or something to this effect - a majority of runescape players and their alts would just not buy it and Jagex would miss out on a lot of the earnings they are currently getting.

It is too linear but minding PvP won't solve that. PvP is dead because the runescape player sucks at combat - PvP and PvM alike. The problem lies in the runescape game that provides a version of a edition that is very simple along with combat. The skill gap is simply too enormous for PvP. RS being a freemium is thought, although the ODD Business Model everyone agrees that you can't have all 3 kinds of payement. Payement granting progression IS the definition of pay2win. Membership is for content.

Sort the confusion in the battle triangle out: Combat levels should be a requirement for equipment only rather than skills. Recently they added lesser versions of abilities because of the obvious issue for runescape players but it's just covering the problem in shit. EoC wasn't finished and does require a lot of refinement. Jmods have not shown they have a fantastic understanding of the current combat system to be able to move forward. You make a lot of cogent points. I agree with toning down aggressive nature of treasure hunter to buy RS gold, those who completely despise it are not going to take advantage of sales, so let them turn off those notifications and not rattle them.
